VOLUNTEER STAR

 DONA WRAY

 10 Years' Service

What is your volunteer role at CVIM?
I volunteer one morning a week to meet with applicants and review required documents for eligibility to become medical/dental patients at CVIM.

What brought you to volunteer at CVIM?

Two friends who volunteer at CVIM made me aware of the opportunity to volunteer.

How does volunteering at CVIM make you feel?
Volunteering enables me to be a part of the solution to one of the challenges facing the most disadvantaged population in our county.

To interest her friends to volunteer at CVIM, she would say:
By volunteering at CVIM, you get to work with a great group of people, each one doing his or her part to accomplish an important goal.

Have you recruited any other volunteers to work at CVIM?
Yes, I recruited a friend who volunteers one afternoon a week to do general maintenance and “fix-it” jobs.

When Dona is not at CVIM, she likes to:
Garden, cook, exercise/swim at the Y, usher at Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, and volunteer for various church activities.
